Chutong Liu
Chutong (Ella) Liu is a visual storyteller from Guangdong, China, now based in California. She holds a B.A. in Art Practice and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.F.A. in Design from the University of Southern California.
She works across illustration, animation, photography, graphic design, and video editing. Currently, she is a Bilingual Video Editor at Crazy Maple Studio, where she edits short-form dramas for millions of viewers worldwide.
Through vibrant visuals and quiet details, her work explores the spaces between culture, identity, and technology, seeking connection in the everyday.
